can you drive yet? also i like that satellite,3rd gens kick ass

Blown70

U looking at that 70?   Now you are for a fixer-uper?   Funds or what.   All I can say I the guy that has the 70 on here for sale would be much better.   I think lucas is better and does not mis-represent the  items they have, but I personally do not see them letting the car go for 7,000   But if you get it for that GREAT.

why does it have green interior  ???

I thinking of changing that to black, painting the body Alpine white, and putting a black top on it. add some performance moda and I got one nice looking charger. If I can buy the parts, I can have the local voed install them for free.

Do you know anyone close by or is there someone on the board that is near the location that could check it out in person for you - I would go that route first.  Looks like there is some serious rust in the floor boards.  You can see the grass through the driver's side.  Looks like the front valance and trunk has some rust.  Best to look these things over in person before buying and being disappointed when it arrives.

I highly agree.  Spend what you have to and have someone who knows cars look at it in person.
Good luck

If your Dad is ready to buy and will spend around $7000 to $8000 I will make a few call's for you. Where do you live anyway, I live in St. Louis. I am guessing you are wanting a 68 to 70, or just a 70?

Hope you get it, keep you busy and not on line as much! :icon_smile_big:

NEVER buy a car sight unseen unless it is dirt cheap.

These dealers love the people who buy from far away because it gives the dealer a better chance of ripping the buyer off.   I have no idea who this dealer is, but I've never met one who wasn't a scammer.   :icon_smile_dead:

:iagree: . I will NEVER buy a car unless it is either checked out by myself, or someone I trust. Good luck Hater  !

Hey!!!!
I followed that car when it sold on ebay!
He paid around 5K for it. I swear it is the same car.
He has it for months now because it is high priced. I'd say 6K tops.

i think i remember that car from ebay. never buy a car site unseen. go look at it or have somebody look at it for you. $7000 not bad for that car, depends on what works and what doesn't. Rene

Definitely find somone to look it over.  If you have a project car, make sure it is worth restoring or you can get it for a price that will allow you to sink some money into it upfront.  I have seen my dad spend $10-15k (at least that is what he is admitting to) to turn his "parts car" 67 Charger with a 318 into a crown jewel with a 440.  I have not seen the car since it was in primer but it was smokin' in the pictures I saw.  You need one of 2 things, time or money (or a balance of the 2).  Its a great project to tackle with your dad and is allot of work.

I am not sure how young you are but I was 17 when I got the 69 (same one in the avitar).  I drove a 67 when I was 16.  My dad and I worked on both, and still own both 23 years later (and added one more last year).  My 1st job supported my charger habit.  22 years later I am still spending money on her, its just the cost of the stuff has gone up.

Good luck if its what you want, I wish you the same experience I have had with mine over the years.  But remember, they don't attract girls.  Only thing my car ever attracted was gear-heads, lol.  I did chase down pletty of girls in her though.  :)
Over?! its not over until we say it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?!...Hell no! and its not over now!..(Germans? Pearl Harbor?...shut up, he's on a roll)

Yep, it's kind of an extra bonus..."hey guys look, a '70 Charger!...& it's a girl driving!" :icon_smile_big:

Good luck, 'Hater. Hopefully it works out for ya.  Make sure you have someone check it out for you first.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I wanted that car really bad. I contacted the seller during the auction to confirm the description and trying to make an appointment to send someone over to check it out.
Because the auction would end to early, there was no time left. Plus there was something really wrong about it, besides body work (read: mechanical hi-$$$ repair) I walked away. It went for $5000 or so (give or take a few hundreds but never more then $5500)

After the auction I saw LucasMopar wont it, they put it on their site, first without price tag (''call for price'') later they put on the tag.
Everybody needs to make a living but adding +$ 3000 was a bid over the top for me. End of story, end of my dream of getting a 70 '500' project.

I must say this experience thought me that Chargers can be bought 'inexpensive' on Ebay and can be sold top dollar afterwards.

I really do hope you find a good Charger soon, Mustanghater, but keep your eyes open... for the sharks.

I'd install an Interior and drive it around like that till it gets painted next year in shop class.I was talking to a friend of mine who's,a mopar guy, in that class this year and he said they got 5 newer mopar color paint cans: 2 panther pink :yesnod:,1 petty blueish color,1 curious yellow, and 1 forest green can. the teacher is a mopar fanatic. He's got a panther pink 70 charger. our school has a great painting department and buy paint on a daily basis. My friend said He'll grab them for me if we buy this car.Can some one list some reason why its a good Idea to buy this car and that its a good deal.
