I looked over some of those today.  Nice work by their crew!  I was madly in love with the car when it was just a "normal" white '69 Charger though...doesn't make the Daytona any less cool though

I can't believe they used the Torq Thrusts for body shop roll-around wheels. Those were almost brand new. WTF? Someone is going to have to spend a lot of time cleaning those up.

I think the car looks 10 times better with those wheels as well. Makes it look kind of like Big Willy's Daytona.

I think the car looks 10 times better with those wheels as well. Makes it look kind of like Big Willy's Daytona.

Didn't to have some of the Coke bottle shaped AR wheels on there at once?  I like those a lot

What's with the window plug & glass?

It looks like a steel plug that uses a glass that is wider than the original Creative Industries parts.

The torque thrusts really make the car pop and I think they look better on it. The Daytona still looks awesome though.

As far as Big Willy goes, his car did sport TTs, but here's an ARE ad with it sporting 200S.

Guys... the TT wheels are in perfect shape. Some of you are missing the purpose of this build. This car was not built to duplicate or be a clone of any other car out there. It was done to be an original that people will look at in the future and perhaps want to take aspects of it for they're own car (think outside the box guys). The TT wheels are great but have no place on this car. Big Willie's Daytona is dated mess of a car that looks like an elephant on stilts. It was great for it's day but it's time to move on gents.... that car wouldn't go around a corner to save it's life and probably took 200 feet to stop from 50mph.

We took a good car and made better in EVERY aspect. Do we still have some finishing work to do... absolutely. But I assure everyone when all is sorted this car will be the most impressive performing Daytona around.

With all due respect, i don't think anybody is missing the point. I think some folks are just second guessing your wheel choice. I know they were designed to serve a purpose, and I know 15" TTs weren't an option, but frankly, IMO it looks like you grabbed some junkyard wheels off a Crown Vic to install on your six figure Daytona.

I applaud you're effort to achieve the Nascar look, but you missed the mark. That happens sometimes when you try to reinterpret an iconic look. Again, it's just my opinion.

It's similar to when I had the HotWheel on it during it's previous incarnation. They didn't match the vision in my head and in real life they just didn't quite work.

That being said, I am looking forward to watching the car evolve.

I would say the biggest issue was shake down time.  Its hard to build a custom build and have it take off right out of the box.  A lot of custom things when into ANGRIER and I would expect the need to take it out for a few rounds to work things loose.

Mr. Angry (original) was on the ROAD for years, thus not as many issues to pop up.

I am sure ANGRIER will be ALL out the next run, as Mike and company will have to to shake the car down good.

I still say that the TTs would look FANTASTIC on my big green 66!!!! After all they would be HAPPY on another old Charger, Don't ya think??
