Picked this up at a junkyard. Supposedly came off some kind of old racecar.
Reminded me of a Vega hatch, so I took it over and laid it on my '74 and it looks like it might fit with a bit of trimming!

Yea, deffintley put it on the Vega. It would look better on the Vega than that car with a towel rack. What is it called...a TOWELRACKONA? :D

is it a real vega or a clone ? :smilielol: :smilielol:

Well, I started with a Monza, then got parts from a Sunfire, and a few from a Cosworth.
I figure it should be worth at least $10 bucks after I'm done!

I get it now, thats a Daytona back window that you would put on your Vega...   :nixon:

WTF?

Dude, read the post above yours. :yesnod:

You know, since we're on this topic, here's a semi-serious thought. I think someone someday should leave the hinges on one of those Vega hatches when they put it on their Daytona clone. Add a pair of those gas springs to hold it up and just weld the decklid to the bottom of the hatch. You know how much room you'd have when you opened that baby up? Somebody do that mod, I dare you!

BMOTOXSTAR

Ah,
So you use a Vega rear window to make a Wing Car clone? :scratchchin:
Sorry man, I am a poor 3rd gen collector. :pity:
