It doesn't say the cockpit crew died, so I guess they made it? Judging from the condition of the nose, I would have guessed them as goners.

Heres the deal with airplanes that have the rolls royce engines. Anytime you advance the throttles there is a 5-7 sec delay in response.  Reason being is that the FMS and EMS' are trying to sync up.  Then you get whipped back in your seat.

It sounds like the plane lost hydraulics or they were just really, really stupid.  Good way to ruin a $171,000,000 dollar plane

Their not that bad, if you deploy the speed brakes first.  I know some guys that don't deploy the TR's.

I worked for Dee Howard (the vendor of the thrust reversers) and was the Lead Engineer on the TR7000CX Thrust Reverser we developed for the Citation X.  Over four years of my life is in that thrust reverser...

You did a great job, my friend.  Our planes are the low serial numbers, (in the 50's).  We had a problem with the TR's on our ce-650 a month or so ago, but the 750's are fine.

I hope you didn't have anything to do with the Yaw damp's.  They suck

Thanks, glad to hear they are doing well...

No yaw damper experience... Its not my fault!

BTW, I did work for Cessna itself in the early 1980s on the Citation SIIs... also worked on the Citation SII HPA special mission version.
