One of the 27(?) Plymouth stunt cars for the movie "Christine" is for sale on Ebay. I'd love to have one just like it! The Fury/Belvedere is about the only mid- to late-50s car I'd like to own.

Nice ride.

I do not know what a 58 Fury/Belv goes for...but I would think $160,000 is a little high. The ads transforms from this being 1 of 27 movie cars used to this being the hero car Christine. Also seems to authenticate the car based on the Museum saying it is the real deal.

I guess $5K-$10K extra over normal condition value would be warranted since it was possibly a  car used in the movie and since this car would have similar GL type notoriety, but that would be about it for me.  :Twocents:

I think real nice '58 Fury's with the 318 or 350 and 2-4bbls would easily bring over 50K. I remember an original 58 Fury brought mid 40's a couple years ago and it needed some TLC. The Fury only came in Biege and had gold anodized trim so Christine is actually a Belvedere. Dad has a bronze '59 Sport Fury with the 361 4bbl and I know of another '59 Fury 318 locally. Don't know of any '58 Fury's or otherwise around here.

Take whatever Volo says about a movie car they're selling with a grain of salt.  A grain of salt large enough to roll out of a tomb & squash Indiana Jones.

i know thats the ole poly 318 but that carb set up would look cool on the 318 in my charger.  i guess if your a movie buff the car may be worth the money.  but if you work for a living then you just watch the auction.

I would love to have that car.   :drool5:

Time to put the movie Christine on my Christmas list.

Congrats, I think you're the last car guy on the planet to finally get a copy of Christine. :2thumbs: :smilielol:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

You know, no matter how long I stand in front of my car saying "OK, Show Me" all I get are sore feet.  So, never believe what you see on TV.  :D
