Now watch what you say or they'll be calling you a radical,
      a liberal, oh fanatical, criminal.
Won't you sign up your name, we'd like to feel you're
acceptable, respectable, oh presentable, a vegetable!

allways wanted one, there's a possibility i can get one now.
like this one only with the mag style wheels..

Old Moparz

One of my uncles bought one of them new, but I forget how long he kept it & how reliable it was. He always complained about getting 5 or 6 MPG, LOL. I liked the boat tail when they came out, it was very distinguishable from the rest of the GM cars. I tried to buy a Riviera once, but an older model, a '65 with a 465 Wildcat motor. The car sat in someone's driveway for months with a for sale sign in it, but they never answered the phone or returned calls. Excellent shape, black, red interior with a cool looking console.

the only thing cool about a buick riviera is that back glass. that is very cool. but the overall car is sick. i've never ridden in one, owned one, etc. so i probably am doing your question in your post NO good, but it's just an opinion. spend the money on the purple people eater instead

A friend of mine's dad has a triple black, floor shift, bucket seat Rivi. It's pretty cool. I'll try to get some pictures of it if I get the time.

High Impact

I had a burgandy 1966 for a while.  Pretty sweet car,  loved the speedo.......it rolled.  I dont have any pic's of it but it was a decent daliy driver for  a summer. :yesnod:

What kind of info are looking for exactly Brock?

The70RT

I have owned a 65, 69,  & a 72. They are cumbersome and heavy. The 72 had a 360 horse 455 but the car was too heavy for much performance. They ride nice on the highway but with gas at over 3 bucs now it wouldn't be feasable to do any trips in it. I have a grill for a 72 and I bet it weighs 30 lbs.

Have a friend who has a 66 Riviera GS, and worked with a guy several years ago who had a 65 GS. Both nicely styled, but a bit on the hefty side to be taken seriously as performance rides. Parts are tougher and more expensive to find than their Skylark counterparts also.
