Just doing the test miles now.  Took my dash to Auto Instruments but now after it is back in the car the smaller gages are not calibrated correctly.  Need to pull the cluster out and check it out.  Also trying to get a Mopar casted Aluminum air cleaner assemblly to fit with the hood closed.  Have a 400 Syroker that is now a 472" stroker, while using a Eldebrock Performer intake manifold I have less room so I need to modify the base to drop more than it came with.  Lets see, the speedo needs to be calibrated, new bigger gears and larger tires so the speed is not correct.  Hope to get these details corrected soon.  It really looks great.  The pics don't do it justice.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Top Banana and Lemon Twist are the exact same color.  Lemon Twist was the name Plymouth used and Top Banana was the name Dodge used.  Can anyone verify this?

Good choice  :icon_smile_big:  or you could wait till next year and get a new '08 Challenger

Theres no way I could afford a 08. That only 70 I could possibly afford in the future is a rust bucket that needs alot of work. After my Charger is done...I'll be looking for another project. Maybe a Challenger, maybe a Duster..I can tell you one thing, it will be a Mopar! :yesnod:

I thought at least some of the hi-impact colors were a shade or two different from dodge to plymouth?..

I can not confirm nor deny.  Anyone?  Bewler?  Anyone?

david hunt

Hello gb70 this is David Hunt out of Liberal, Ks. glad to hear your car is coming along. I did not get to see pictures of it but it always was a nice looking car. I fell on HARD TIMES and had to buy a 79 Pontiac tAM for circle track racing. I would never destroy a Dodge just for left turn. It still makes me puke to think about this Poncho driving it . I suppose the 383 stroker motor CHEBBY will blow up the first night. But then I will go sit in my 65 HEMI plymouth and cry in my wine, Not. Have a great Mopar Day. DvH903@AOL.com Inspector Mopar to ya.

Love that color combo, thats the color and stripe I am going with my Challenger.  Your car makes me anxious keep up the good work.

Your car looks great but the wheels don't!!  Is it the lighting? or are they powdercoated repro's?  If so you need to scuff them and paint them the correct color...  The MP stuff is pretty accurate... :2thumbs:
