2nd gen. drivers side remote mirrors... correct cable length???

hey guys..
i know if i remember correctly.. there is a diff between the remote mirrors from say 66/67 to 68-70's... the cable lenghts are diff?!?!?
what would be the correct cable length for a remote drivers side on a 68 charger???

i have a brand new repop...pass side i snagged, but i'd be in need of a real nice drivers side!! or was just gonna pick up a new repop drivers side?!?!?

I thought the difference was something to do with the knob and bezel on the interior??

I'm sure no expert but I would like to know since I have a 67 with remote mirror.  (that needs to be replaced)

I Cant answer the 66-67 part but original cables on 68-70 mirrors are about 12 inches.
Repops and the current Mopar avail mirror have a aprox 20 inch cable
