Just saw an ad for a Duster in my paper. It reads:

1974 Plymouth Duster. Needs motor. Has new heads, new 904 automatic transmision, Hooker headers, B & M floor shifter. Body in good shape and needs very little work.

$900

Seeing this tonight, I havn't gone out to look at it and get pictures or anything, but what do you guys think?

"Needs new motor"......that could be something right there. Do you have the funds to get a new motor for it? :shruggy: :Twocents:

That could mean anything. Right now I'm picturing it as a non-running car with a clean body and new parts coming with it. And yes, I would be buying it to flip. I need money, and I don't see anything wrong with that.

still got that 440 rv engine?.

Ghoste

Buy it, smallblock it (the 440 won't like the 904 trans much), and flip it on down the road.

$900.00 for a 74 Duster that needs work. You'll be putting money into it, so I think your profit margin will be pretty low.
Take a look. hopefully you can get the price down to about half.
Still looking for 15x7 Appliance slotted mags.....

Never got it man. I got my 383 instead.

I don't want to put money into this car. I was just wondering if a '74 Duster needing a bit of work is worth more than $750 or so that I'm going to offer. I guess the pictures will help, eh?
