I think it depends entirely on what condition the body is as far as rust is concerned AND how much of the restoration work you are going to do yourself.  Parts are expensive.  Labor is very expensive.  I bought a 318 69 with virtually no rust and I've probably spent $7 or $8 thousand on parts already.  Admittedly, I am changing the entire drivetrain from a 318/904/8-1/4 to a 440/4SP/8-3/4.  But even if I wasn't, I would have to have rebuilt the 318, rebuilt the trans, completely rebuilt the suspension, exhaust, and braking systems, completely replace the interior as well as the vinyl top, buy new tires, rechrome the fenders, redo the instrument panel.  You begin to get the idea.  It costs lots of money to rebuild these cars.  You want to start with the best one you can find and it is definiteyly worth it to pay three times as much for one that has a good body and doesn't need an entire new drivetrain.  Now, if you have been into this for a long time and have a garage full of parts you have been able to scarf up along the way, might be a slightly different story.  Or if you are going to just flip it, there again, probably different story. 

I think that car is worth maybe $2-$4k as it sits.  Will someone pay more.  Depends on how much of an eager beaver they are.  If it is the answer to someones lifelong dream, they will definitely pay more.  Then they will find out the hard way how expensive this hobby really is.

The guy across the street from me just sold shell of a 70, 500  And I mean a shell  sheet metal only not even a roller it was on a jig 318 car no fender tag. Went for 3050.00 on ebay the gut paid a extra 900.00 for the jig and paid him to deliver it 400 miles. So judging from that 5500.00.

Yeah but that body looked pretty solid.
