I'm already making money off of it, but of course I'd like to see it go for more. There is still 4 hours to go, hopefully it will heat up. I know of some cars around here, but I haven't asked about anything, waiting until I have cash in hand.

I would have made an offer but I just cant swing it right now...     looks like you'll be doing very well for yourself though   :2thumbs:

I'm very happy.  :2thumbs: Now the fun part begins. The hunt. I'm hoping to track down some cars during thanksgiving break. The buyer is a very nice guy from Canada. I'm hoping to buy a late 70's or early 80's Mercedes turbo diesel for a driver.

I think I've already posted this picture of the tempest, but here it is. No picture of the charger.

70charger_boy

If you look at the Tempest.  Check to see if it is a post car or hardtop.  It appears to me from the pic that it is a post.  You can lowball the seller.

The 2 door post, (sports coupe) is rarer and llighter but most people prefer the hardtop.  Racers, however, prefer the Post car.

The nice thing about the charger is it will always have a good resale value. The tempest is just like a satellite. Take my car for instance. Its a number matching big block car with a ton of rare options. Its basically a road runner with GTX options. Well due to the VIN number it was not as desirable as a road runner or GTX. If my car were a GTX it would have brought WAY more than it brought as a Sport Satellite. So I'm thinking hold out for a charger so that if I do decide to sell and move on to another project I will be able to get my money out of it. Chargers and GTOs in my opinion are the two best looking muscle cars. By the way chargers copied the GTO's sail panels.

I've owned and restored two GTO's (64 & 66) and one Charger (68) Both are awesome cars! But when you go out cruising, or to a car show, or at the race track IF?? you see one Charger then you'll see 5 GTO's. Built a lot more Pontiac GTO's then Charger's. Just my  :Twocents: but after restoring both cars the Charger looks cooler and they had the Hemi, but the GTO's were built better!

Congrats on selling your Satellite & good luck on your upcoming car...Charger. ;D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
