Hello to all,

Just thought it might be an idea to say "Hi!"
I've been a long time reader, but I've only just summoned the 'Cajones' to post!
I recognise some of you from the CGLFC forum - I use the same name over there.
I have a '68 that I bought a couple of months ago from a member here.
Saw my first Charger back in '79 being driven by a couple of good ol' boys!  :D
While my car is Hemi orange with Vectors, I won't be adding any graphics, not yet anyway.
My son has just turned one year old, and I figure when he can ask for them to be added, I might just do that!
It has a 440/727 with new quarters and trunk floor. Interior will be all new with retrimmed Recaros to match the rear cover.
The car is sitting patiently in Elkin NC waiting for me to get my ducks in a row and organize the shipping to sunny England.
I'm looking forward to finally participating for real.  :yesnod:

Anyway...

"Hi!"  :2thumbs:

Thanks for the welcome! There does seem to be quite a healthy respect for the Charger in the UK. Mind you, I've only ever seen two out on the road.
(Though with the 440 and UK gas prices, I won't see this one on the road too often either! :o )

And Pettyfan... Thanks man!  :2thumbs:

Can't wait to see the pics.
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?
