Hey..

I'm building a 511 stroker for my charger, and allmost all of the parts have been ordered, but I haven't ordered a new radiator for it...

What's the general opinion?
Should I order a new radiator? I suppose I should...

What type and which ones are good? Links / prices are most welcome..
It has to be a bolt on, I'm not in the mood to relocate mounts and stuff...  :rotz: :icon_smile_big:

Thanks..

I have a 505 stroker in my charger and it has a stock 26" radiator in it with a new 3 row core , it runs at 170-180 even on hot days .....but i have a 5 speed so the rpms are lower than some.

I would say its all in what youre doing with youre Charger , if you are looking to make it appear stock than i would go with a stock looking 3-4 (3 would be my preferance) but if you arent going for stock look get a high efficiancy alluminum raiator! :Twocents:
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

I'm not at all concerned with keeping my car stock appearing...
I'm more about having stuff that works, and trying to do all I can to make for the best running engine possible...

Where can I get a hold of one of these radiators...?

Thanks for your reply..

On my stroker build, asside from running a high volumne aluminum water pump set up, I plan on going with a stock looking aluminum radiator, also I think they are supposed to bolt into factory location, where as the cross flow upgrades you have to drill on the radiator support, modify the transmission cooler lines (if running auto tranny of course), also the factory fan shroud want work (therefor you will have to get a new one that will fit, or make you a custom one), and you have to move the battery to the trunk..... There may also be other things that you may have to do to, but that's a few things off the top of my head....

I was in the same boat.  I just ordered a radiator and 16" electric fan w/ shroud from www.4secondsflat.com The rad is a 26 x 19 and fits just inside the radiator opening.  I will have to fabricate brackets, but preferred that to the universal brackts that are available.  It' s an all welded no epoxy radiator and Don is a serious Mopar guy.  Prices are better than Summit also.  I looked hard for something to cool my 512, but can't give results as it's not on the road yet.  Mike
