I need a pic and some information on where I can buy the carboard type cover that fits over the 4-speed hump on a 70 B-body with a console. Or can I make one, get buy withou it or do I just have no idea what I am talking about. I have never seen one I was just told that there was a cardboard type piece that goes over the hump.  any pics and information is greatly appreciated.

Because the factory did it? He's talking about the driver's side cover that is needed because the "hump" for the shifter is wider than an automatic console. It's some sort of pressed fiberboard material.

Brewer's has it:

There's also a unique trim piece (and carpet) that goes over this cover. As you can see, the console is different as well. It is missing a chunk to go over the hump and I believe the side light is moved as well.

As far as i can see the difference between an automatic console an the 4 speed piece, the dome lights are further upwards (cuz of the hump probably).

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...

Pretty much.  The four speed one has that big section cut out of it which is covered by the fiberboard piece.  Can that fiberboard stuff be remolded?  I know you can buy it in flat sheets.

The cardboard cover is available as a reproduction part. The repros are made of plastic instead of the cardboard. Someone already posted a link to the Brewer's website, and most of the other repro parts vendors sell it as well, Dante's, Year One, Paddock, etc. The plastic consoles all started out as the same part from the same mold, but the ones for the 4-speed cars were cut out to clear the floor hump, and had an extra set of trim holes drilled for the chrome trim piece. The courtesy lights are in the same place on both consoles.

The console bodies are the same except for the cut out. There is a thread here about modifying an automatic console to work with the 4-speed. In the end, it may be a better idea just to buy the repro console body so at least the plastic is new. The side piece is there to cover the hole. With the side piece the trim is moved upwards (hence the special piece) so there are different mounting hole locations. The light location is changed as well since the cover would hide it. The pictures aren't real clear but the cover is about 4" out from the console side so it's deeper than it looks. For the $59 cost of the repro  I wouldn't bother trying to make one.
