Scott at Harms Automotive just finished the resto on my 68 Carter AVS 4 speed carb. It looks great and according to Scott, it worked perfectly on the test mule engine.  :drive:
Thanks Scott!

Man, that looks great. Let us know how it works on your car. I just bought a '69 R/T 4spd and the guy gave me an original AVS 4spd carb  to go with it too so, I'll be looking to see how it goes for ya. May be sending mine there.  :scratchchin:

If it works as good as it looks in that photo, it should be a great carb.  :drool5: :2thumbs:

Anybody know what the CFM rating on these carbs is?  And what is the difference between the Carter used on a 440 4-speed and one used with a automatic?

I believe it's about 625 (not sure though) and as far as differences, the four speed has the dash pot of course and I think it may have have had different step up rods in it.
