The vin is XP29G. I'm not sure if it still has the original 383, but it does have a 383 that has been "rebuilt" not sure about that though. What do you think its worth? The passenger side rear quarter is a little mangled.

$2000.00. $2500.00 tops if it runs, w/a carb and no rust anywhere else, but that wishfull thinking also.

1970 Charger 500

I paid $8,600 for my 500 4 years ago, and that was a good deal.  Matching #'s 383.
It was in a little better shape than that one.
I was able to, however, drive mine to Seattle from Portland.
Here are pics of mine when I bought it.....

The guys is asking 12,500. I'm glad you guys thought it was way overpriced. I was worried.

ryan053

thats way to high.  Is it a stick or auto?

has nobody els noticed that the vin is XP29G?  Isn't "G" a 318 in 70?  Also.  12500$ for that is a rip off.  Even if it was a N code 383HP car.

$12,500!   :o

I want some of what he's smoking.

Also,  "the engine was rebuilt" I would say Definitely WAS rebuilt.  I like how they put the grease coating back on to make it look like a rat rod. Maybe it helps insulate it so it runs better. Stays hot you know. I think the whole car is fresh of the rotisserie.  Thats how the seller wanted it to look.  Hell, The more I think about it.  $12500 is a bargen for a genuine sleeper. Probably has brand new used bushings in the front end too.  But hey.  It was "rebuilt" Drained the oil out of his tractor and filled up the diff. Then he can say he Rebuilt the diff too. Trans was rebuilt when new in 75. Pulled it out of the new yorker last week and threw in. "NEW TRANS". Sorry,  Just decided to make fun.      It wont happen again.....   Today.

I would say $4-5K if it runs and turns out to be mechanically ok.

i may sound high here, bujt that upper body and lower rear valance and corners etc look pretty damn good. if that car runs and drives and only needs quarters, not a trunk floor or floors, i think $7500 is right there for it

DID YOU STAND ON THE ROOF OF THE BLACK SEDAN TO GET THE "BIRDS EYE VIEW"  PHOTO OF THE CHARGER ?

Harlow

These we're emailed to me. I called about a local craigslist ad. I was thinking the same thing when I got them.

Argos_Chargers

I wonder how long the carb has been off and how much damage was done.  Also, is there any metal under all of that putty?  Does it have an interior? That's gonna be some work!  I wonder if it still has the 2 core 318 radiator?

The guy across the street from me just sold shell of a 70, 500  And I mean a shell  sheet metal only not even a roller it was on a jig 318 car no fender tag. Went for 3050.00 on ebay the gut paid a extra 900.00 for the jig and paid him to deliver it 400 miles. So judging from that 5500.00.

as for the price, check the numbers first but if it's matching which i'm guessing it might not be, i'm leaning towards what travis said....$5 to $7 if everything else we can't see is in good shape.
