steering box replacement

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has ever changed out a power steering box on their car while the engine is still in it, and if so how much of a pain is it. Also I can't seem to get the front end aligned at any shop and I'm thinking that the front is sitting low. Does anybody know if the ride height affects the alignment and if it does, does anybody have measurements and where do I measure?  My car goes fast but I can't keep her straight

I takes about an hour or so to take one out and put one back in with the motor still in. If you have a lift it would be a lot easier. It is definitely a two person job. Tie a rope around the box and have somebody hold the box up from the top. It will save the guy underneath the car a lot of arm and back pain.

Ride is not only important, setting it improperly or ignoring it's interaction with the rest of the alignment in Mopars torsion bar front end, is one of the big ways front end guys screw up Mopars.  If they aren't used to dealing with Mopars and torsion bars, it seems like ride height is the one they will screw up the most.

Cool that's a big help, does anyone know what the measurements are so I can set the front up to the proper height?  I looked in the service manual but didn't find anything. (prolly not lookin in the right spot)

Recommend if you're replacing the upper control arm bushings go with the Moog offset bushings to allow you to increase caster over stock.  This helps high speed stability.

Really, I wish I knew about those when I had all that stuff replaced.
