I don't know these cars that well by the little details, but I think it is a '74? This is a local Barracuda a few blocks from me. This apparently is the owners daily driver.... year round :rotz:   My son told me about this car as it is just down the side street by his friends house. My son told me this same guy has a real nice older Mustang that he keeps in the garage. I've never seen it yet though. I took these this morning 11/8/07 when I dropped Jesse off by his friends before they left for school. I didn't get out to see if it is a 4spd or not, but it does have a V8 as you can see the dual exhaust.

Wow, how cool is that, an old Muscle car being used as a daily driver. :2thumbs:  One day, someone will restore it, otherwise thats a cool as the little ole lady puttin around in a old Hemi Charger.  Well, almost as cool.  And you thought we would gringe.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

:scratchchin: I wonder what Yr those rims were added?.. i'm gonna guess '87...  :shruggy:

Charger1973

Reminds me of my days beating around town and tearing up the gravel roads in my first 73 Charger.  Probably has to do with the fact that its the same color.  Mine wasnt as rusty though.

TUFCAT

That left rear mudflap should last about 10 more miles......its barely hanging onto the corroded wheel lip molding which has corroded away from the flange on the corrodded quarter panel.  :P

6pkrunner

Its out there doing what it was built for. I've seen many vastly worse off than that one. Hats off to the owner for keeping the movement alive. Not all must be trailer queens and "a few hours on Sunday" rides.

There is a little old lady down the street from me who drives a 68 satellite 4 door year round.

Driving it in the salt they cover the winter roads with here in Wisconsin is just as bad sometimes, trust me.  :P

That looks just like my cousin's Barracuda he had in the early 80's. Too bad about all the rust. :pity:  And I think the wheels and tires look pretty new. Not that I like them. :eek2:

On my elevator route is a 69 coronet 4dr that a little ole lady still use's daily.  There's a note taped to the dash that says " put car in Drive before starting."  On the torn bench seat is a puffed up pillow, all original paint etc.  The garage door is normally open, it's cool to see the back end sticking out.

Just to clear up my statement. I wasn't saying it was bad to see it as a daily driver, hell my Charger is going to be just that. I was more making that statement about it's sad condition and that fact that the guy is letting it go away. The seats in the car are pretty much toast. And it is a automatic with a console according to my son. Those wheels were made in the '80s. I have owned two sets of those, but with red for the center color. The 14" set in never used, but the 15" set I had on my '86 Grey Ramcharger, and just gave the wheels away last summer.
