...and my Epi Les Paul Classic along with my Hagstrom Ultra Swede. I just picked up a Seymour Duncan SH4 bridge pup, not sure which guitar to install it in...Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics.

...and my Fender Blues Junior, you can see my Blackheart 5W head and cab in the background. The cab has an Eminence Legend GB 16ohm speaker. Don't pay attention to the machined 440 steel crank standing next to it....

:o

wow...thats wild... is it heavy?

The Bud guitar? Not any heavier than any other average electric guitar I've held.

Now the brass bodied Dobro I gave her as an engagement ring, that's really heavy.  :o

Marry me?

This one started out as a cheap Plain Jane fixed bridge White Strat that I had picked up for my son to learn on. When he finally got tired of it, I took it apart and got rid of everything except the body. It now has a 3 position switch for each pickup, allowing me to control each pickup individually as well as the phase of each pickup within the circuit. I got rid of the typical VOL knob normally located in the top position near the pickups, basically because I find them to be an annoyance with my playing style... it now has one Tone and one Volume. Pretty much everything else was added as well... Trem Bridge, Pickups, Tortoise Shell Pick-guard, Neck, Gold Hardware, etc...

Musicman

This one was a gift from my lovely bride... It's really to pretty to play hard, so I keep a set of heavy flat wound Jazz strings on it for the mellow stuff.

Musicman

This is my favorite... my Pride & Joy.... This guitar is another one that started out as a Plain Jane base model unit. I gutted it and started fresh.... added the center pickup, tapped into all of the coils and fed them through a 4 pole 6 position rotary switch, which outputs to a set of phasing switches, and then to individual tone & volume circuits. I also modified the output circuit, so unlike most LP's I can turn the volume of one pickup off without affecting the output of the other. I can do almost anything with this guitar.

Here's a couple of more... The acoustic is one that I had picked up used back around 72... I lent it to a friend, who lent it to a friend, who lent it to another friend, etc,etc,etc.... I lost the guitar, and would not see it again for another 30 years. I was visiting my sister one day when she told me about an old acoustic guitar that she had up in her attic. Her son had picked it up somewhere and brought it home to learn on, but quickly lost interest in it. She pulled it down out of the attic so I could have a look at it. I couldn't believe what I saw when I opened the case, but there it was... my old and most favorite acoustic. A lot of stuff was broken on it, and the tone was pretty dead from years of neglect, but I fixed things up and she's starting to coming around again now...

The Black hanging beside it is a standard model that I use for heavy humbucker stuff. It has a real edgy tone to it..

Musicman

Here's an early 70's vintage Gold Top that I've had for years... I started reworking it a few years ago, but my daughter stole it to practice on, so I haven't finished. I still have all the parts to put it back together however, and someday I will... It's just not at the top of my To-Do list right now.

Musicman

I have 11 guitars in all... including a Black SG which my son has at the moment. He's using it with his band right now.

I also play through a couple of different amps at the same time... This is one of them... a modified Traynor tube amp... I pulled the crappy Sovtek tubes and Celestion Speaker, and replaced them with stuff that I like. Because it's a dual cabinet system I also added a speaker volume control circuit to the upper cabinet, as well as an optional high pass filter circuit, and an On-Off speaker switch.
I also built the lower cabinet which houses a 15" driver, an optional low pass filter circuit, and an On-off speaker switch.
All in all, a very versatile system when you consider all of the various cabinet circuit options. You can get pretty much anything ranging from the bright up front in your face tones, to deep mellow jazz tones just by flipping a couple of switches on the amp... and you haven't even touched your guitar yet.
This my main amp system...  but I also have a big solid state amp that I use for effects.

my gosh :o those are some amazing guitars...no wonder your the music man

Thats awesome! I had no idea there was so many guitar players on here. I've played drums since 2nd grade, but am learning guitar now to develope my song writing skills better. You can only write so many songs with just power chords=) I have a little Marshall practice amp and an old school Charvel, because I'm all about the 80's Metal. Thats it, nothing special. I love that Jackson you have Cody, its pretty sweet. What do you guys think of the line 6?

That Dreamcast guitar is pretty cool  I guess that all their good for any more.

That Pic of Michael Angelo Batio reminded me of the quad-guitar he plays. Hes a damn good guitar player.

Sorry about the pics, but ill include a "stock" pic too. I bought a cheap Fender yesterday
Just took the plunge after 28 years of not picking up a guitar after taking lessons.
I figured it would be cool to re-learn and play again.

An no, its not like riding a bike, you do forget where to put them darn stubby fingers.
