This is the early Vega hatch designed for racing. Built with very little inner structure and must be pinned or `Dzused' in place. Molded edges all around insure a perfect fit. Vents blanked off. See VW105 on page 70 for Vega Wagon hatch.

I won't be wronged, I wont be Insulted and I wont be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to others, and I require the same from them.

I removed a SE challenger window plug from a parts car.And all it was plastic not even fiberglass and had counter sunk screw holes to attach.Thought a fiberglass glass more available hatch screwed and glued in and and metal brackets glassed in to attach made sense after seeing what the challenger SE used .I wonder if the speed record setting 69 daytona clone of Lees S susbstained and rear fiberglass plug issues.I havent heard of any same goes with a older daytona replica I owned with a fiberglass plug to date the guy that owns it never had mentioned anyway.I even recall seeing a pro street daytona of Wally Elders at the nats which I think he made his own window plug fiberglass as I recall and had a lexan backwindow. It must be the techniques used and the installer where the issues stem from
