In the trunk

Hi
(1968 Charger):  If you look into the trunk, all the way on the left and right sides along the side walls, you can see a passage that runs over the wheelwell.  I can't see much past the top of the wheelwell.  I will try mirrors and a light tomorrow.  BUT,  does anyone know if I were to wash that area with a water hose, IS THERE A PASSAGE BACK THERE THAT WILL LET THE WATER DRAIN OUT?

For information, most of the sides of my trunk were coated, by the factory, with black undercoating.  The area that I am talking about was not, and shows sighs of minor corrosion.  I would like to spray an acid conversion material (metal ready) on that area, wash the area with water to remove residual acid, then try spraying POR 15 (or something as good or better) in there.

Any other recommendations would be appreciated.

Thank you
I guess I should crawl around just forward of the rear fenderwell and look for plugs.
