My car currently has this cam in it from a previous rebuild.

http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=SUM%2DK6400&autoview=sku

Ive been thinking about putting an Engle K56 in, but only want to go through the hassle,

if it will be a noticeable difference.

My car setup....

Its pretty much bone stock.

I just purchased this intake for it, as most people seem to think its the way to go.

http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=EDL%2D7193&autoview=sku

I will be putting Headers and the TTI exhaust on it.

As well changing the gears to 3.55's

Thanks.

2Gunz

oh and what air cleaner will make this thing fit under the hood?

Stock looking would be nice.

mally69

If your just looking for a bit more than stock and not racing then yea this seems ok
If it were me id probably go just a bit Larger on the cam   i dont know anything about that engle cam though,, i was referring to the one thats already in the engine

The list looks fine  :2thumbs:

What valve springs are you going with ? Make sure they have enough seat/open pressure as well as coil bind room for the new cam.  ;)

The Comp Cams # 911 spring would work with this combo.  :yesnod:

Engle had a set that they recommended and thats what Im using for springs.

Still trying to figure out what I need to make the Performer RPM fit under the hood and what I need to make

the kick down and throttle work.

mikepmcs

The only parts issue I ran into was the retainers.  I didn't order them cause I thought mine would work.  So if you think that will be an issue call Chris back and get some retainers to fit those springs.
