Home grown talent: Youklis, Lester, Papelbon.

I think there were 7 players on the roster that came up through the system. Their #1 pitching prospect threw a no-no and wasn't even on the WS roster.

They got Lowell and Beckett by trading away 2 prospects, Hanley Ramirez was one and ended up being the Rookie of the Year for Florida last year.

Ortiz was picked up off waivers after the Twins RELEASED him.

Yeah, they have some stupid contracts, Drew, Manny, Lugo, but the young talent coming up is the reason these guys are where they are.

That was a dominating performance. The greatest run differential in world series history.

I have to applaud the Bosox on their great season.  They played great ball and nh mopar fan is right on top of his game in his post. 
I enjoy good baseball no matter who is playing but Colorado didn't need to be there in the first place. I'm just glad the bubble burst when they got to the last series that mattered.
It was reminding me of the D backs and Marlins when they spanked my Yankees in the earlier part of this decade, and it should have never happened.

I don't see any reason why Boston can't repeat next year.

Now my team is a different story, always issues, now a new stadium, blah, blah, blah. Steiny needs to go away, actually both him and his son for that matter. But that is the price I pay to be a Bomber fan. 

The bottom line is the team that should have won, DID! and they beat em in 4 straight, exactly like they should have playing an inferior team. Way to execute guys.
