Just installed it in my Charger, no more points to adjust. I got an instant improvement in starting the car, it fires up right away, it also runs alot smoother and when I put it in gear it locks into a very steady 600 rpm idle.
For 65 dollars this was a great upgrade.

I installed one in my '64 Vette 6 years ago, and it worked well, so I had one installed in the Charger when it was restored.

I have installed over 20 Crane conversion kits , has adj rev limiter ,one extra wire , no box , and rides on existing lobes in dist , really a great set-up !

the pertronics is a completely self contained electronic replacement for the points , , personally I am not a fan , I have seen at least that were intermittent & the car would not start from time to time, one of the big mistakes is most people connect the 2 wires to the coil , this doesn`t give 12v to the system , the red wire Has to be connected to the blue 12 V switched ign wire near the ballast to work properly
