Stock Tac stopped working after Ignition install???

Hey guys, actually had this problem last year just before we put the car away for winter.  We intalled a MP electronic ignition. Now your Tac does not work at all ?? I read a few post that say  " SOMETIMES" the tac will not work with the new ignition? Seems a little odd to me, either it should work or it shouldn't !! Not "sometimes" lol

Suggestions, comments??

About twenty years ago I replaced the points distributor in my 70 Swinger 340 with the Mopar conversion kit and the factory tach worked fine. Also used the Mopar kit on my 69 Charger a few years back, and again the tach worked fine. I had called MP before buying the kit for the Dart to ask if the tach would still work and was told it would (and it did as mentioned above).
