I wasn't passing a bad judgment about the tat.  I have two myself.  I got the first one when I was 19.  Like it was mentioned...I knew she was too young to get one.

talk about kids getting awards...My middle one got an achievement award the first week of school for being such a polite kid, always having a smile on her face, and having great conflict resolution and being a helper.  A few weeks later my oldest got an award for basically the same thing plus doing such a great job in her reading and class work.  It makes me think that they just give these things out for things the kids really should be doing anyway.

hi wifey...

well in one of my supervision books i'm reading for my sgt's test.... it says that if you reward good behavior... you (should??? ::)) keep getting it... if you punish bad behavior... well you get the point!!  I think it's good to instill at at a young age, MOTIVATION, a good work ethic, and an ambition to want to succeed.  i know what you are saying though... about just giving stuff away to everybody and for stuff WE all.. "JUST DID" ... in school because it's what you should be doing... not cause your gonna get an reward!!!

glad to hear all is well w/ you guys!!!!..... and the charger! hehehe :icon_smile_cool:

Wifey, I didn't think you were passing judgement. I realized you knew she was too young to get one without permission. That's why I explained my why I let her get a tat. Congrats on your girls getting rewarded. I know what your saying, too. But I think the schools are doing this because some parents don't take the time to teach their kids values and morals.
