Does anybody make a Daytona/Superbird kit for a F Body? It would be something like a mini wing car. The lines are there and I think it would look really neat. F Bodies are pretty reasonable compared to B bodies. I know that it can be fabricated but you would be talking a lot of money. I am wondering if you took the wing and cut out some of the mid section and the same with the nose cone. The wing may be to big on the struts but it would look like one of the Hot Wheels cars. Coool

cheaper to buy an original wing and nose & the cut them to fit  :scratchchin:
cheaper than fabbing them  i dont think so  :slap: ::)

I had several F bodys in my time and still like them. But I don't think a winged version would look good :P

Here ya go, an F-body Daytona... :D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

v10bee, to more fairly answer your question, I think rav440 pretty much hit it.  To my knowledge no such kit is available and I agree with rav, you'd be better off fabbing something up.  Who knows, you may be pioneering an untapped market if you can create a good looking and affordable kit.

I am thinking about buying a Road Runner and an Aspen R/T and seeing what I can do with it. I can buy a wing and a cone and have them made to fit but I was thinking that there might be a kit I didn't know about. F Body RR and R/T 's are very reasonable. It would be a poor mans Superbird or Daytona. I know that someone was building kits for the Dart.

Ghoste

Didn't know there was a Dart kit.

i really dont think the Fbody car would look right with a wing and nose , they are way to short in length to do something like that and have them look right .  :Twocents:

it would be nice to see a PHOTOSHOP on one they would look like

Not that they're worth gobs of money but they are pretty rare and I would be inclined to believe that a Daytona/Superbird treatment done to a late-'70s Road Runner or Aspen R/T would devalue it considerably since those cars are pretty much considered the last ditch muscle car effort by Mopar. Why not do it to a base model Aspen instead?

Ghoste

In fact, it might be wise to get a few decent F-bodies restored while it's cost effective.  Could pay off in a few years... :scratchchin:

Or a guy could just buy one like I have pictured above for $6,800 and be done with it:
