OUCH!! That 69 runner has seen better days.   Same with the vette.
I'm not sure who was hurt worse. Me or the Vette :shruggy:

Please for the love of god don't post the surgery pics.  I'm still recovering from that, but I'm happy you're still on earth   :nana:  oops I mean  :2thumbs:
You asked to see those pics, cause you thought you were gonna see nekid pics. :nana: And that surgery was from the Barracuda accident. Don't worry , I don't have any pics of the surgery from the Vette accident. But I think I have pics somewhere of me in the bodycast. :scratchchin:

That was in Nov 5, 1978. A guy I knew borrowed the Vette from one of his friends, to take me for a ride.

C_stripes

Ouch,  Was he still his friend after the fact??

I don't think they were friends anymore. That guy was really pissed.

That one, I crushed T-11, T-12 and L-1 in my back. Crushed C-5 in my neck. Broke my scapula. Stitches in head and bruised my kidneys really bad.

If you noticed, most of the wrecked cars in this thread were wrecked by careless drivers, namely the people driving the actual Mopar itself. Such as the Cuda in the ravine; speeding caused that. Or, the rolled over Charger...chances are the driver did that by himself. Yea sure, some of the wrecks were caused by other people such as that purple Superbee that got hit by the Jeep or probally that mashed orange Roadrunner but as long as you drive safely and dont drive like a bat out of hell, you should be fine. Of course, theres always a chance of an accident but sh*t happens and you cant prevent it. :Twocents:

And ok Jeremy...I'll be waiting for those pics. :icon_smile_wink:

700 percent positive that's the same car...and the motor wasn't rebuilt in 2005 because it was sitting beside the garage in my backyard then.  that person didn't even get that car until the spring of this year.

I felt the same way when I was viewing those pics.

You have to remember back then (60s, 70s and early 80s)$4,000 bought almost any car you can think of. Your weekends weren't trying to get the crinkle paint perfect on the air cleaner...it was trying to fix or tune up the car from the thrashing last weekend so you could get it back out on the road to score some races/girls this weekend. :drive: Back then it was who had the fastest car, not the prettiest. Sometimes things went wrong and the car did not make it home!  But we had fun :icon_smile_wink:
