Which radar detector is the best when considering price, detection, and other features?

Silver R/T

I had a $50 whistler for a while that saved me from a few tickets and gave me a peace of mind. That was 'til the day came when local meth addict decided he needed it more than I did.

I havent had one in about 10 years. I know people still buy and use them but I have been under the impression that the whole concept of these things is obselete. You go cruising by and all the sudden they zap you with the lazer and 15 minutes later congrats, you just recieved a high speed award. Im sure somone will chime in with the latest up to date technology. With all the crap thats out there today they probably make one that slows your car down for you.

I have to agree, they seem obsolete these days. The best method would be a CB radio, even back before laser.

None of them would help here against modern interceptors, I know that.  :icon_smile_angry:

Dude... VALENTINE ONE! I have EXTENSIVE experience with this little bugger and it has saved my a$$ more times than I can remember. It's not cheap, about $400 bucks but it's worth every penny. The cheaper ones are just that... cheaper and in this case you really do get what you pay for.
