The red Chally vert dude posted something on 'parts a month or so ago.  But by the sounds of it the owner of SIR (Seattle) with the backing of some big players wants to do a big two day Mopar event similar to MATS.  The weekend of July 26th is what I've heard so far.  A lot of the NW Mopar car clubs have been approached about sending a few of their members to help out.  There's suppose to be a meeting this Saturday as well.  :shruggy:
Any of you Seattle folks know any more.  I've heard this will replace the other Mopar shows which would be a bummer IMO.  Anyone hear any different, 8WHEELER?  Sunbust is by far the premier event in the NW now  :Twocents:
The classes are similar to Sunbust.  My buddy asked that they make a class for the Hemi clones to get them out of body specific modified classes which I think would be great.  No more sniveling  :cryin: original Hemi owners.

Opinions, ideas???

Hey Mike

The plan was first brought to the Tacoma chapter, the plan was to get with all of the mopar chapters
in the NW, and get a little help from each chapter to put on the ''BIG'' Show, drags and mega swap
meet. But the plan was still to have all of the other shows still continue, just wanted some bodies to
help put the ''Mega'' show on. They also wanted our help for knowledge to run the show fairly
and correctly, not just let everybody come and do what ever they wanted, like put a heavily modified
car in stock class.

It sounds like a great show, I hope we can pull it off, and I hope its not in may   :brickwall:

ARE YOU ENJOYING THE RAIN   :RantExplode:

Didn't Eastside Chrysler Jeep sponsor the BCC/XXX Drive-in event...they're no longer in business.

Yep, Eastside Chrysler Jeep used to be one of the two sponsors, Bellevue Dodge bought them
out, the new owner wants nothing to do with car shows. The other sponsor was Accurate
Auto Body, now we are having problems with him............... so the Seattle Chapter at this
point has ''NO'' sponsors   :shruggy:   not sure what is going to happen at this point, but we
have one more year at the XXX.
