This is history, here, since it's the first time ANYONE has captured a live adult Giant Squid on film.  Amazing. :)

so 8 times approx 3.1 feet...  so 25 feet give or take...

i have read in actual scientific journals that tenticals of giant squid have been found that would indicate lengths of 60 feet.
