Wish my '68 looked like that. Someday...

I like the trend of doing exhaust cutouts in the rear valance while eliminating the backup lights in that area.  The other silver '69 in the PHR magazine this month also had a form of that modification too.

Eliminating the factory chrome bumper bolts is getting so common on customs of all different makes & models these days  . . . Goodmark might as well start making that a regular option on their repro bumpers.

I haven't seen the PHR article yet but I'll have to pick it up.  I did see the black one in Mopar Muscle and it looks a lot better than some of the other Pro Touring Chargers I've seen of late.

chargerboy69

That is a nice looking car. . . . Not a big fan of the wheels, to common for me. The tips through the rear are sweet.

I would take Mikes car over it any day of the week.  :yesnod:

Is it me or does that tail stripe look more like a metallic red like the inferno red on the new Rams than a solid red? :scratchchin:   I like it....There is something about a black car that still makes me  :o

The one from Mopar Muscle is sweet.  They could have used more unique rims for such a unique car, though.  I'm a big fan of TTII's, but that car deserves something cooler.  They could've done something else with the reverse lights than putting them in the rear bumper though.

Hmm, which side should i fill gas on today?  :scratchchin:

Definitely a nice ride with loads of time and effort put into it. My biggest thing with all these cars though is too see if they get driven... I have yet to see ANY magazine car that really has some miles put on it. Hopefully this guy uses this car and drives the nuts off it.  :popcrn:

There was somebody on here before saying the original 68 Charger was designed with dual side flip top fillers,  and both were almost scratched to reduce cost.  The designer insisted they keep one.  Does anyone else remember reading that?

FYI: the owner is a member here (well, he's got two posts :D). Steve P had some pics of the car in the MATS thread. There's also a lot of pictures on his website - with  babes for those of you who care... ;)

Yeah I remember that thread.  The turn signals have actually been turned into air tubes leading to the front brakes for cooling if I remember right.  IT is a really sweet build.  Wish I had the money for a build like that....

Red Ram

The only thing I don't like about that car is the gold emblems...other than that... :2thumbs:

Are his back up lights cut into the rear bumper?
