GREAT STUFF! You've really come a long way in the past yr or so...
I also remember sitting in one of those RS SS Pace Cars with the Orange and Black houndstooth seats back on the showroom floor - and I couldn't figgure out why the had the tach and speedo Square... That was the same day I sat in a 3X Black R/T Charger and decided it was my Favorite Car of all the 20 plus muscle cars i saw that day.

What ever became of your carsnotforsale website?..  :popcrn:
and,. was that really Elvis?.
Yes that is Elvis.  I stole the picture off ebay from someone selling a trike.  I've been to Grace Land 3 times, and his red Rupp trike is right there with all his other toys across from Grace Land.
As for the site I let it die as I just didn't have the time to push it and it wasn't that busy anyway.

Can you please repost the link, I've lost it... Might be helpful to some folks I'd think...
BTW:
It's ok being a Bowtie guy, I used to lust for a vette - a '69 ZL-1 Phase three - MakoShark Combo...
but That's an awful lot of car and expense to haul around one hot skinny ass and a briefcase...  :icon_smile_wink:

Did a couple Dunkin runs today.  I parked next to this neat 70ish Olds.  He's had it for 10 years.  100% original paint car and a 4 speed!!

Looks like a 1972. Great car!

Rob, how many damn donuts do you eat per week? And what's your favorite?

Yep, you're right. Not a '72. Looks like a '70.
Back in the day, my buddy had a 70 Pace Car when I had my 69 Pace Car so the style is melted in my brain.
Gotta love the shorts. :hah: (and socks )  :smilielol:
Don't be laughing at him, he was a all state national wrestler, or some title like that?

I love shorts. Here's Dec 1987 in FL where I lived for 1 year. His grandmother hand sewed the flags out of parachute material.  I was able to go over 70 MPH in the Pace Car with them flapping in the wind.  I hand made the flag brackets EXACTLY as what was on the original Pace car on the Indy track. O.K Chevy fans, why does the stripe stop short of the trunk, and other stripes like on a Z/28 go all the way down the deck lid?

Because all cars that came with factory spoilers stopped the stripe short of the deck lid.  All Pace cars were spoiler equipped.  If a Z had the stripe down on the lip it was because the car came without the spoiler so the stripe went all the way down the deck lid, but when the customer picked the car up he asked for a spoiler, they would then paint the spoiler to match.  Factory spoiler Z's stopped short of the deck lid like the Pace Car.

Today's Chebby tip.

Today I pulled off the leaking right side cover.  I was going to do both sides but the left side doesn't leak.  I believe most of the oil leak is from the screws not the gasket. I find it hard to believe all my oil leak is from the valve cover, but we shall see.

It's probally the gasket. :yesnod: My Duster had a major oil leak. I changed the valve cover gasket on the side that was leaking and I guess I did it wrong because the next day on the way to a show, it was spewing oil everywhere whenever I booted it. My dad re-did them for me and it's been bone dry since. :2thumbs:

It seems clean.  Even with a new valve cover gasket one lower screws still leaks.  I have to much going on to care right now.  I kinda give up for the moment.  Work and family is real busy.  I just drive and drip.  :2thumbs:

Nothing new here.  Just been enjoying the car before snow arrives.  I took my son to a friends house the other day and snapped this New England shot with my I phone.

A love for over 40 years. That car is just tattooed in my brain. There are times I'm overwhelmed with everyday life and it takes a back seat in my thoughts. Then I take it out for a cruise and I can't stop falling in love with the design all over again as if it was brand new in 69 and I was a 14 year old car lover ( something you don't see much of today).  Outside of my family, I've never loved anything as much for this length of time.   American auto designers at their best. Pure raw Detroit Iron. Oh yea.  :coolgleamA:
