quarter and valance corner

70 Charger I am putting on  an aftermarket quarter and corner. I don't have it completely ((fit) yet but the corner looks like it needs to be split and a piece added in  to meet the line of the quarter and still meet the valance correctly. Do these corners not fit? as i said the quarter isn't fully in place but that line just doesn't look good. I got a 3/8 tapered line with the corner. the quarter fits reasonably well other than this. Anybody else done this repair?  Al

its very common for them to need to be modified they look alot better in the box then they do in place! but it sounds like you got it figured out , what needs to be done anyway.

yep , when i done mine 6 years a go  had to cut it &  add a bout a 3/8 " strip , thought  the guys repoping these would of fixed this problem by now

Another sweet treat is the trunk floor extension, I have got to take a piece out of the front of it to meet the wheelhouse and the quarter at the same time.

Did all the above , took some tweaking , but never added metal !
