Issue with the lights on my 67

Driving home tonight, my rollovers started behaving erratically, opening and closing on their own. I have had issues with the headlight switch recently and had to play with it to get the dash lit. It's very sensitive.

Could this be a switch issue?

Were they rolling on their own or were the motors powering them on their own?  I ask because the buckets can loosen in the clamp and roll around.  It is also possible to have problems with limit switches and relays of course, but I have found mine will bounce around a little if the clamp isn't tight enough and the red lights not open light in the dash will come on.

No, I think it was the motors powering them. I drove for quite a while with no issue before they started. The red "not locked" dash light would come on and then they would almost immediately open again. The continue doing that for quite a while. I pulled over at one point in a rest area, sat for a few and started again and they were ok for a little while before it started again.

I would check first to make sure they are seating firmly against the limit switch and not able to bounce around at all.

I will get into it this weekend.

Thanks!
