Well the worlds dumbest criminal stopped at my house last night! Some slime ball ass hole got into my 1985 Dodge Aries and tried to steal it last night..... yep, an 85 Aries!  .... who goes to jail for an Aries? I can sure as hell tell you that they weren't going to out run anything in it! I drive it for the sake of heat in the winter! But yeah I got outside this morning and sure as shit the ignition was broken out and there was a screwdriver on the front seat I called the cops and now 4.5 hours later they still aren't here after I called twice I am going to give up! Even if it was just an Aries it pisses me off! Its my damn car! I am just happy that they didn't mess with the ram that was parked in the next driveway. So now I have a busted up car, cops that don't care, and someone who needs a swift kick in the nuts!

I also must say that I live a block from the police station! You can look down the alley and see the police station form where the car was parked!

Sorry to hear that. I know exactly how you feel. I had cops living two houses down and we were hit all the time by burglers. I would call and tell them someone broke in and they would say we will have to take a report over the phone or mail it in??? They even said they didn't want a serial number of a stereo they ripped out of the dash. We have too many thefts lately......sorry

That sucks, dude.  If I were you I would shoot a couple of rounds in the air and when the cops come racing down your street and ask you if you heard any gunfire you reply by saying

I wouldn't be surprised since it is an old car to them. Just because you live by the pokie don't mean crap. Now if you lived by a donut shop  I live by a Baskin Robins and they were robbed like 10 times in one year. They actually parked a police cruiser in the lot for a decoy for days on end. It stopped the robbery's but they never caught anybody.

Cops dont really care about stealing cars.  Its usually considered "Joy Riding" and they simply fill out the paper work and you take it up with your insurance. End of story.

I know how you feel. I have had people in my old 74 Dodge truck 5 times this year!

I live across from a school.  Its kinda an odd area.  We are on the good block. All nice houses but are about 3 blocks from the hood. It always happens in the alley. I've had  lots of problems the last several years. Its time to move.
