my freind found a very nice 300 hurst with a 440 and has low mileage and has been restored a few years back but we have no idea a price of what it is worth.

 Howdy Cold!
:shruggy:
like all "What's It Worth?" inquiries, it's totally dependant upon condition.
So without details including good pictures of the usual problem (rust) areas as good guess can't be made without a high probability of error.
Having researched that particular model in the early '90s. I'd stay away from any example that had bad fiberglass panels (hood & trunk) or substancial rust as these expensive areas might very well cost far more then the car would ever be worth.
Go to www.drydock.com and ask there.

Cold 85n need more details, like what is low miles? 12,000 miles or 96,000 miles. 96,000 is still low for a 1970 car. Think they where made in 70.

When i was looking at them around 5 to 6 years ago good one's where going for around $3500 to $5000 then. Now if the Dukes had one, well there would be none left :icon_smile_big:

Is your friend wanting to sell it? I all wise like them.

$14,500 in #2 condition

The Hurst 300 are starting to go up in value, for sure.

if it has the console shifter, it is even rarer.
Chrysler only made 485 of the 300 HURSTS, so darn rare !
I used to own one several years ago, let me know if you have any questions.
Make sure it is a real one, I have seen clones. There will be a Y39 code in the fender tag.
Y39= special order.
Pretty fast for a big boat, no doubt it turns heads  :icon_smile_cool:

The NADA price guide says:

Low Retail: $5,825
Average Retail: $13,805
High Reatil: $19,910

Factory A/C adds another 15% to the price. So, seeing as how it was fully restored I would think around $18-20k.

Ohhh, hmmm, your right, I'm wrong. I only belonged to the Chrysler 300 Club Int'l. :rotz:
Did a bunch of research on them. Actually owned one. :yesnod:
Maybe, just maybe I came across a more accurate source of the # 485.

well i talked to my buddy and he said that it is not a hurst but it does have the factory 440 and is a convertible with 48000 miles on it and the car is very nice. it was owned by a guy who collected wing and hemi cars. he died a few years back and now his wife wants to sell it but is asking 8000.00 for it. i think that sounds high

8,000 for hurst aint bad, but 8k for a convertible C body sounds a bit high but not out of line.
