It's a Mopar, and it doesn't look that bad.  A little sweat equity and she'll be a nice little driver.

I would love just if was a 70-72, not that ugly front clip

Note appart: I don't like that seller. I bought a set of grilles from him and and weren't that good, beside I sold NOS 71 R/T tail lights louvers ( 2 sets ) still on original boxes except one on $400, and he was crying... he ended getting around $1K reselling them. A$$***E THIEF!!!

that was years ago, before you entered on Board.

IN FACT this is funny, but when I was selling them on parts for sale section on the old board NOBODY wanted or ask, just one guy ( what I won't mention, he is still around ) asked but never close a deal because was expensive In his opinion I think :eyes:

I was selling them with pics. Original Mopar Boxes on pics too, so wasn't a "blind" deal

Did happen the same with rear valences with exhaust cutouts... I was selling one NOS on original primer, with a light bended area. I was asking $200 and NOBODY wanted.

Fortunatelly that one got a good owner and is already mounted on car and looking good. I sent it with bended area straightened and new primed to just paint and mount.

I think that it was because I was a foreigner and allmost a newbie. Was pretty hard try to sell on those days. I still remember My first deal was with dodgecharger-fan in Canada... 4 Original Parts Dealers Catalog ( 67/68/69/70 ). he wanted just 69 but for the shipping cost I made close the deal for the 4 catalogs and then sell the ones he didn't want and get back the money... pretty easy with those years catalogs... wasn't a bad deal in my opinion to both... I got my dash pad and several parts more with that, on the days dash pads were still good affordable.

Attached, rear valence I "sold"... really got a good trade, with a good and thanks God patiently guy enough to help on get the best shipping way for the stuff he sent me ;)

below, the original condition rear valences on factory primer... the non cut out one got a good owner too. you can see the slight bended area on cut out valence

Congratulations Trav.  I kind of like it, but then again, I'm a twisted little freak in my own way too.  ;)

Charger_Fan

At least it's more nicely done than the 3rd Gen Charger running around my area.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Did they stiffen up the frame any underneath?

69charger2002

lol you know i just thought about that today. i bet they didn't.. and though the 6 banger itself won't twist torque the body, it may buckle on it's own over time. as there is nothing but rockers holding the car together in the middle now.. scary thought!  :scratchchin:

Chris' '69 Charger R/T

69charger2002

hey chris..  well as for the dart.. let me tell ya. i did NOT buy it to flip it.. honestly i don't know why i bought it..i probably won't even break even on it.. and since it's the last thing i bought, it's first to go.  BUT the sole reason it's on ebay is because i won this car the other night on ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=130165222224&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=003

and i need the funds to just pay for shipping the thing! i think you'll agree, though not a 69, it was worth the buy!

It will be a fun toy for a little while but with no way to keep the critters out you might be doing this:  :brickwall: soon. To whom will you sell it? :scratchchin:

Have fun!

As for the Charger..... :2thumbs:
