Does anyone know of or how I can contact Jimmy Burrows? :shruggy:
I am told he is a 3rd Gen Guru that has much knowledge & many parts. :scratchchin:
Thanks.

I think it's this guy:

I bought my Barracuda from a guy named Jimmy Boros in Minnesota who had a ton of 3rd gen stuff. I have his email address and phone number at home so I can check it later. I am almost positive that he mentioned owning the airgrabber.com domain name so what is the chance of having two guys named Jimmy Boros that both sell 3rd gen parts and have lots of information?

Troy,
   Thank you so much. :icon_smile_big:
He hooked my up right on the 71' R/T tails that I need. :2thumbs:
You are the best Troy, really. :D

No need to double check, Troy... That's him.

supserdave

We bought a 71 parts car from him about 5 years ago. He was good to deal with and very knowledgeable on the third gen. stuff.

TUFCAT

I've known him for 10 years....He's a good cat

mikesbbody

a very nice guy! and he really knows his third gens. I have dealt with him and would recommend him  :2thumbs:

BMOTOXSTAR

Happy to hear all the good things about him.  :2thumbs:
Seems like he is not into this hobby just for the $.
He really gave me a great $ on the R/T tail light set up.
I am buying these sight unseen but just from talking to him on the phone I feel positive about this deal. Those 71' R/T tail lights are hard to find and he seems to not be charging a over the top $.
All of my dealings with the 71' R/T taillights have all been way , I mean way over priced for what you are purchasing.  :rotz:
Thanks Troy.l

Don't know if anybody knows or not --

I bought my 3rd gen -- in 2000 -- from a guy named Jimmy who lived outside of Ann Arbor Michigan.

He had a whole pole barn -- and house garage -- full of 3rd gens.

Did he move? Is this the same guy?

Just curious...  :shruggy:

If so, I love him for selling me my car back then -- and making sure a load of needed parts was in the trunk!!

Troy

The old(er) contact information I found listed a Michigan address. When I picked up my car in MN I never asked how long he had lived there.

Jimmy Boros lives in the Twin Cities area at last check. Lived in Chelsea MI for a while as well. Same guy. Good guy.

I bought my '70 Satellite convertible from him. Later sold it to his brother.

I believe he lurks here, as well as on Moparts.

Jimmy was one of the original 3rd gen guru's.He was very active years back in the mopar community. The last time I spoke to him years ago I beleive he had a 71 Charger 500 sunroof car he was selling.
I think he moved or built a house(something to that affect)and wanted to concentrate on his family more.Since then he has been keeping low but you still hear about him from time to time.
I think he just recently sold a 72 Charger factory 340 air-grabber car.I also think he restores 71-72 R/T,Rallye bezels.
Nice Guy! :yesnod:

Jimmy's a real good friend of mine.  He lived in Chelsea, Michigan and then moved to Minnesota to be close to his family shortly after they had their daughter.  He is focusing more time to his family like going camping and such.  Jimmy focuses more on the 71-72 B Bodies.  I sold his 72 Rallye air grabber at Carlisle a few years ago.  It was a sweet car...a 72 rallye with air grabber equipped with a 340.  Him and his wife drove it to my birthday party one year.  I just sent Jimmy a carpet for a car he's restoring.  I met Jimmy years ago when he moved to Chelsea.  He had bought a pair of Rallye doors from me and we have been friends since.

He does a really nice job restoring the 71 R/T bezels.  They are right on the money!

He's a great guy and also sells on Ebay

TUFCAT

I'll actually go on record with the Chargerkid on this one.  Jimmy has always been extra friendly to my Dad and I.  We met him at the 1998 Mopar Nats when I brought my '72 Charger Rallye to the show.  He's helped me out when I needed it. I wish him only the best :2thumbs: ....come on Jim - - where are you??    :scratchchin:

Goldfinger71

Also as I recall he head one of the BADDEST,CLEANEST 71 Superbee's ever! HAND'S DOWN!
I beleive it was a 440 6 pack car! And was  RED with a White top! :drool5: It was the same color as the scat pack car!

Chargerkid do you have a pic?

I would have to search for the pics of that car.  It was in the T building at Carlisle a few years ago.

There's a story to that six pack car too.  It was my friends car and I was the mediator between buyer(Jimmy) and (friend) seller. Needless to say both parties were happy.  Several years my friend was driving near Cleveland, Ohio with a mopar in tow.  A trucker spotted him with the Mopar.  He got on the CB and told my friend about the 71 Bee.  My friend had actually drag raced the car

Yep that's the one.  If you look behind Jimmy's car, you'll see this nice '72 Charger SE in the background.  And if you look in the backgouond of this pic, you'll see Jimmy's Bee (AND TUFCAT's Dad)  Say Hi TUFCAT!  Isn't that wild?  The car is TUFCAT's brother Mike's car... the nicest '72 I've ever seen! :2thumbs:

I forgot that Mike's car was there the same time as Jimmy's.  Too bad Jimmy's car is long gone.

I agree without being too biased, that is the nicest 72 Charger SE on this planet.  For what its worth, there are sentimental reasons for it.  Same for my 67 Coronet 440 which I hope someday will be the nicest '67 Coronet 440 on the planet. Okay, now where do I find the - - "I hope I'm not being egotistical" - SMILEE???  :smilielol: :smilielol:
