and I'll probably pick up a copy. It's the 24 episode first season on six DVD's. Can't wait to see all the Mopars back in the day when men were men.   ;D

I'm 33.  Am i too young to know what Mannix is?   :shruggy:
"Liberalism is a disease that attacks one's ability to understand logic. Extreme manifestations include the willingness to continue down a path of self destruction, based solely on a delusional belief in a failed ideology."

I thought this might happen since it came out in 1967. He started driving Mopars in the second season. It was a relatively violent detective show. He had no family, drank, smoke and got in fights a lot. You know, back when life was good.  ;D

I've only watched bits & pieces of a couple episodes, maybe I'll have to give it a try. :)
Looks like he made decent money as a detective, he got a new car each year. :yesnod:

Poor Peggy didn't get paid squat though, she was stuck in one little turd after another.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Mannix was a great show...gotta love those 383 convertibles...I liked Adam-12, too, because they drove '67 and '68 Plymouth Belvederes...you're right; those were manly men driving manly cars...Crown Vics? Pssshhh! I think not!  :eek2:

Your post got me thinking. Off the top of my head I can't think of any manly lead man in any of today's network programs. They're mostly metro-sexuals.

What about the WAWA on CSI:Miami, Horatio Caine/David Caruso? He drives an H2...

(FYI: "WAWA" stands for World's Absolute Worst Actor...so glad when he left NYPD Blue...)  :police:

If the H2 were his. Maybe. But isn't it a government vehicle?
