Does anyone offer fiberglass hoods for '70 Chargers?

I friend of mine has a '70 R/T Charger with a mild 440 including aftermarket intake (can't remember which one) and Demon carb. He has virtually no hood clearance between the carb and the hood and can't get even a small air cleaner on it.

Does anyone make a fiberglass hood with scoop for a '70 charger? He really doesn't want to cut the existing hood for a scoop for obvious reasons. Preferably something that has a "Mopar" type scoop like the '69 6-bbl cars had, HEMI Darts, etc.

Thanks!

You might want to call vfn fiberglass.

:iagree: VFN sez they will put any scoop they offer on whichever hood you want starting at $250 for labor.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I think the second gen chargers look great with six pack hoods.

Got a close-up pic of that six-pack scoop mounted???? I went with a Hemi-Dart scoop, as it doesn't interfere with the impressions in the hood....

Also, anyone use VFN parts??? I want to put a flat hood back on mine and wonder how their quality/fit/finish is.
