Went to the paint store to get some DP50LF he was going to sell me a can that had a date 06/07/05 on the bottom. I have a can of DP50LF that has a date on the bottom of 05/05/03 it"s been in my garage for four years and never been opened would it be OK to use.

most auto paints/ primers i have come a cross , have had a shelf life of 3 & 4 years , best thing to do is phone the manufactures technical department , if it were me

Thanks that"s what I was thinking. The man at the store told me it was no good but then he was going to sell me a can that was two years old. In a rusty can I asked him what the shelf life was and he went
