AVG free version. I love it.

It runs off of read only files, and doesn't take hardly any space on your computer. Their anti-spyware one is good too.

I guess I missed something on both replies. The ones I down loaded requested payment in order to get rid of the infections. What did I do wrong?

They sell a commercial version that come swith support and whatnot.
