Which is why I  when I think back and know that of all the cars that my dad sold years ago are all still in the hands of the people who bought them off of him. So at least I can say that maybe he sold them all to nice people instead of flippers.

What's wrong with buying a car then making money off of it? That's how you make cash to fund your projects without getting a second job....or a loan. If most on here bought a car for 5K tomorrow and then someone says I will give you 10K it would be sold. I use to get up at the crack of dawn and search the paper for deals. Earlybird gets the worm. If someone is selling something for X amount why say heres more because your a moron and it is worth more.....most often you have to do work to flip them anyway unless you are made of money and buy and store then sell later,unless it is one of those deals where you buy it for the parts you need and sell the rest for sometimes more .........ask Travis. I bet that's how he has such a sweet collection. (Sorry Travis that I used you as an example.....I don't think anyone hates you on here.....maybe just a little envy but I'm just jealous  )

There is a project Daytona in Milwaukee that is available.  V2, white stripe, black interior, 440 auto, non numbers engine, has fender tag and build sheet, same owner since 1985 and has been a local car since new.   The car is not missing anything.  The sheet metal is above average for an unrestored car.  The drivers floor will need some work, but it is not bad.    In my opinion, the nose shell is pretty lumpy and will need rework or a McGaughey replacement.   Engine is currently out of the car.  $95,000.   He's more interested in cash versus a trade.

flippers SUCK.. lol man you are right bro, i would probably have 1 nice car and 1 project car by now if i hadn't bought and sold. i don't care if i'm disliked for it.. 99% of people out there would have done the same thing for easy money. doesn't make me love my keepers any less or make me not a true charger lover.. as for these daytona and superbird hoarders.. that is the kind of flipping that is so risky to begin with. sure they have all the cars.. but they did it for money, and if people won't pay what they want,. some rich guys will cut their losses eventually and good deals will be had.. because lots of these owners don't give a FLIP about the car itself. it's a investment object simple as that

 no plug so it's a clone and no way would you even be close to mine let alone do burn out in it

OK , I took a hard look at the car , here is what is wrong , and would not take much to make perfect , but I guess the owner is clueless !!!
wrong hose clamps
wrong battery
pep boys battery cables
head light doors as mentioned wrong color around lights
hood cables
left rear bumper bent !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
side reflector bezel not painted body color
front suspension too low
lower front valence does not fit nose properly

My point here is this , if you want big money , make the simple things correct , any third grader can tell you that !!!!!!!

Well he did get one simple thing correct that no clone will. XX VIn.

There are a few other things in the engine compartment that aren't right either. Brake booster should be painted black, all of it.  The hood latch on the car isn't correct either. Incorrect voltage regulator as well. The bezels your right should be painted body color on the front, but the rear ones should be stripe color.

Does this make the car less valuable? Some what. But to think that his buy it now of $150K is way off would be incorrect. Especially coming from someone who thinks that "properly" done clone would be over $100K.

Easy cupcake , all muscle cars have taken a hit recently !!!!!! I buy 2 -3 cars a week , that value in on my clone was for a hemi clone that is close as possible to a 700 k Hemi clone .
