I drive by this car all the time, and I just found it on CL.  However I suspect it is worth much less than they are asking.  A similiar one is on eBay right now and the current bid is $1000.  What do you guys think it is worth?

seeing as how its all original 59k mile car, plus having a 318, it has bigger bolt pattern and disc brakes. Plus seeing how nice and original it is... I dont think his price is too far off base, I would think around 4000 would be a nice price. I saw a dart sport in almost exact same condition same color, but had a slant six and I think the guy wanted around 3000 for it.

5500 seems high to me. I don't know but 2500 would be in my alley. Someone would probably buy it for 3500 sooner or later. It is kinda hard for me to price those Dusters. It seems like yesterday when I had no less than 3-5 of those things sitting around and junked so many back in the day my stomach turns thinking about it.  :'(.  I should get one again sooner or later since I have a ton of parts for them still.

If its in real nice shape and everything works like it supposed to it may be work the asking price. Its also one of the more rare colors for a duster.

The real problem with figuring the value is it's "just" a Duster.

Unfortunately the Gold Duster was basically a paint/trim package. I bought my slant 6 GD for $550, running, no rust with new upholstery and carpet.

If it had a 360 - maybe worth the asking price.

Here is another gold Duster for 5. Not that it is better but it is a 4 spd.
