I find it amusing when these artists have to complain about the shareware system and lodge huge campaigns from their mansions to end sites like youtube, Kazzaa, napster and limewire, just to name a few.

True, but all the money in the world can't create talent. That is why I support the local artist's like John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band and Young Neil and the Vipers and I haven't bought a CD in about 10 years

He's the afternoon drive guy on www.q107.com now.
You can listen online.

He was a bit shakey at first, but he's settled in well.
I think it's pretty cool because he talks about the music from a musician's perspective as well as a music fan's perspective.
He's always getting his producer to play back bits of songs right after they've just played and, excitedly, points out what's going on and explains things.
And when the big stars come in for interviews, he gets them to perform on air with him. Some neat stuff happens.
He put me on to Rodger Hodgeson (formerly of Supertramp) He played and sang live on the air and I swore up and down that they just played the CD. His voice was so much of what Supertramp was. I went to see his solo (with a horn player) act and we're going to see his full orchestra act in a few weeks.

In ther interest of staying on topic, there's some good video of what I'm talking about on that site above.  :icon_smile_big:
Click on the little TV in the QMedia Centre box on the far right and the video gallery will open up. use the "quick find" drop down menu to filter to the Kim Mitchell stuff - or whatever else you want to look at.

Bootsy Collins the James Brown and P-Funk Bass Player, and many, many more, Guitar Players love to play that song, I know I do, Those are right off the top of my head,..
