If I get it I would always let him have the option of buying it back for what ever I pay + the money I put into it.
That's what I'd do, too. Let us know if you get it. :)

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

42 sick was the name for the Charger, He said it had a 426 wedge in it,  I was up under there and swore it was stamped 440 :shruggy:  He also called it Rusted Trash (R/T)  He said he is off on Wed + Thur, I was lucky to catch him on a Tuesday, he had traded days off with a guy at work.  If he doesn't call, I will run back up there on a Wed or Thur when I have some time to talk.  I gotta say it aint as much fun.  We used to just sit around and talk Mopars, tinker with one of the cars and drink beer.  He don't talk Mopar, I don't drink many beers, and he just likes to watch his trains go around in circles.  He has built a very elaborate track.  It covers 3/4 of his garage, has towns, tunnels and even car dealerships that have cuda, Chargers, and winged cars on the lot.

He got really big into slot cars as well didn't he? I think that the 42sick was for the motor that was at one time in his Charger. He had told me he bought the max wedge years ago out of Florida I think it was, when he was in the military. And he had put it into the Charger. He then put a 440 into the charger, to build as a super charged engine. I don't think it ever was completed.

You just nailed a few key issues here, but drinking beer might be the biggest. I remember reading CudaKen's posts, he always had a lot of body work info to offer that was helpful, so I read it. I also remember his posts on massive purchases of vintage stereo equipment while he was drinking. He joked about buying too much while he drank, so maybe that's another reason for lack of interest in the cars. By that I mean he cut out, or cut back the beer, & it effected his mood. A friend of mine, as well as another friend of my wife's, had similar issues. They stopped drinking & their interests in another activity skyrocketed. (Something to do with replacing the drinking activity.)

It might be for his own best interests, but hopefully he'll be happy.   :shruggy:

I always gave Ken a hard time about the body-colored bumper(s) on his '69. Maybe once I get to know you better I'll do you the same favor. :D Well, unless you took them off. :shruggy:

Interesting. I've heard the conversion is much easier to do on a '70 because the wrap-around bumper comes off and the nose goes right on. Do you have to modify the fenders somehow?

nope it never did it was real close and he had said since I first met him that the blown charger was his dream.  After he was laid off he sold the blower set up to pay some bills.  I suspect he sold the Charger to help with bills as well, or maybe build a HO city or train tunnel :shruggy:

Yes, the lower, front portion where the front valance meets the fender. You need to cut the fender horizontally, then bend a new flange.

well at one point he did at least have the super charger setting on the motor in the car
I have pictures will get kid66 to post them if i can

as far as the front end ,  It will need a 70 hood and 70 fenders(That i have)   so my 69 front clip will be for sale or for trade towards a nose and nose parts

He had several pics of mock ups, the first was at earl schieb the blower and intake were not bolted down the last was in his garage and I believe he had bolted every thing up but never fired it.  I remember telling him since it was his dream and he was so close we should get it running and make at least one pass down the road before we unbolt and ship the blower set up.  Ken said it would be harder to sell it after he had driven it than if it had never been run :shruggy:
