OK,
Saw these on-line today. The shop is 10 minutes from my house. :scratchchin:
They ripped me of on my 73' Rally stripe kit last year (false advertising).
But I am tempted to stop there after work tonite & check these out. :scratchchin:
I will let you know how they look.
Has anyone tried one of these yet?
Does any one else carry them, I hate to give these turds my $, but I need a new dash pad for me Rally.

Question is????  Are they the ones with the fiberglass core the bends out of shape or a metal one.  If fiberglass(or no core) then I will spend the money to have mine redone.  Someone got on from someplace and said they were cr@p.

It looks wavey in the photo, could it be the padding only?   :shruggy:

Even their one tiny little pixelated picture shows that it is far from straight. I'd definitely check it out in person before sending them a penny.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

I would not buy anything from anyone stupid enough to use that picture in an ad. The pad looks hideously distorted. I`d rather have no pad, than put that POS in one of my cars.

Nacho-RT74

maybe is the same that paddock sells what as far I know has been a piece of $**T...

for that price I GO WITH RECORE!!!

how hard is the pad to remove?

can be done without remove frame but need to dissassemble everything around and twist your hands...

my votes are for remove dash frame and get joined on bench

Maybe I will just go home after work. :scratchchin:
It does look like a turd from the pic.
Thanks for the advice, I think my dash cap will be better than that. :scratchchin:
I could send my pal Gilbert to go look at it.

I think Alan from Ultimate Rides is coming out with the 71-4 Charger soon or they might already be out  The E body ones are perfect.  I am going to get a few from him.

BMOTOXSTAR

Well,
They are made from a carbon/carboard type material, they kind of seem "floppy" & sag in the middle by the gauge cluster, they seem kind of cheap. They use vinyl for the dash material, the grain looks good but they just really do not look right. Maybe for around $200, but not $400.
I think I am going to just put a dash cap on. :Twocents:
I got my balls all excited for nothing. :flame:

More than likely the government of the tiny country (3 miles by 5 miles) of Grand Fenwick that borders Switzerland and France in the Alps, and proudly retains a pre-industrial economy, dependent almost entirely on making Pinot Grand Fenwick wine.
