RIDELIKEHELL

Just introducing myself to the folks on this forum at the request of Shakey

I've purchased a rusty 1968 R/T with a numbers matching 440 for a frame off resto. I'm planning on a pro-touring type with  possibly a crate 426 or 472 motor. I want to have a 6speed & disc brakes for kicks & am thinking Lime Green/Black vinyl roof. Here's some pics of the bucket LOL

It came with newly re-chromed bumpers, new fenders etc..

Lots o work ahead!

Wow, I'll say there's lots-o-work ahead. :yesnod: Whoever stripped the paint off those areas & left it to rot needs to be SLAPPED! :slap:

Anyhoo, congrats on your new project. I'm glad to see it found it's way to someone who will appreciate it more.

What other kind of projects do you have under those tents? ;D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Actually, the K-Frame can be unbolted, which in turn will drop the front portion of the drive-train (engine, transmission and suspension) so the car can be put on a rotisserie to be properly restored.  This is how one does a frame off restoration of a uni-body car!   :yesnod:

Was it a Canadian car to begin with?  I couldn't help but notice the snow tires on the rear!   :D

Keep us posted with your progress.
