I seriously thought about posting that it wasn't me who planned to do that, but I didn't think anyone would really leap to that conclusion

Speaking of being killed while working on a car...
A long time ago, a friend of mine found a complete 68 Mustang GT in a junkyard, and asked if I'd help him get the GT wheels off of it.
So we made our way to the yard, with a tire iron and a jack-all.
I'd never used a jack like that before, but it lifted the back of that car with ease! I'd put the jack in the center of the bumper (like a dolt) which permitted by friend and another guy to remove both rear wheels at the same time.
Seemed like a good idea...
Until the car started to sway over to one side, balanced as it was in the middle. To regain control over the car as it twiched to the right, I let go of the handle...
And it came up and smashed me full in the face.

When I woke up, I had a 3 inch laceration in my jaw, and a concussion.
30 Stiches later...I was informed by the Doctor at the Emergency room, that the last two guys that came in the door courtesy of a jack-all, arrived in bags.

I hear ya. Sounds kinda tough. She is secretary for 3 attorneys now and works up to 50 hours a week. After her schooling is over it won't be so hectic for her.....at least she hopes. She goes to Washburn University right here in Topeka.
